Sep 10 , 2025

The Beiben 1929 water bowser truck is a multifunctional sanitation vehicle primarily used for road cleaning, landscaping, construction dust suppression, and emergency firefighting assistance. It consists of a chassis, tank, water pump, power take-off (PTO), piping system, and spraying system.

The PTO drives the water pump to generate pressure, which delivers water from the tank to various nozzles, including front, rear, side, and high-level showers, to meet diverse operational needs. The Beiben 1929 water bowser truck features self-priming and self-draining functions, providing flexible and efficient water delivery and simple and reliable operation.

Beiben water bowser truck it is modified on the new Beiben 1929 chassis, with a wheelbase of 4800mm, 12.00R20 tires with totally 7 pcs, WP10.290E32 engine, maximum output‌ 213 kW (290 hp), Fast 9JS150A gearbox, the upper part is a 10 cubic meter carbon steel water tank, it is equipped with front water spraying nozzles, rear water spraying nozzles, water spraying monitor, the tail of the tank is a platform.Beiben water bowser truck can effectively reduce dust and pollution, reduce road dust and improve air quality by spraying water mist.

Before using a Beiben water bowser truck, a comprehensive inspection should be performed. The driver must confirm that the vehicle's fuel, water, and electrical systems are functioning properly, that there is sufficient water in the tank, and that the pipes and nozzles are free of blockages or leaks.

The driver must also check that the power take-off (PTO), vacuum pump, and water pump are functioning properly to ensure optimal operating conditions.

After starting the Beiben water bowser truck, the driver operates the power take-off switch in the cab, transferring engine power to the water pump and activating it.

Once the water pump is operating stably, different spraying modes can be selected based on operational needs. The truck is equipped with forward flushing, rearward spraying, side spraying, and a high-position sprinkler.

Forward flushing is suitable for washing roads, offering a long spray distance and high power; rearward spraying is used for dust reduction and cleaning; side spraying is used for watering green belts; and the high-position sprinkler is suitable for watering trees or long-distance spraying. The driver can freely switch spray modes using a control valve.

During operation, maintain a consistent speed, generally between 5 and 20 kilometers per hour, to ensure even water application.

If water is drawn from a natural source, the self-priming function can be used. Open the water inlet valve and start the water pump, drawing water directly into the tank for quick and convenient water collection.

After the operation is completed, the power take-off (PTO) should be promptly closed, the pump stopped, and the valve returned to its original position.

» .Working principle of Beiben 1929 water bowser truck:

1. Power Transmission and Power Take-off Drive

When a Beiben water bowser truck is operating, the engine diverts power through the power take-off (PTO) and transmits it to a dedicated water pump. Engaging the PTO ensures stable power for the water pump, ensuring continued water pumping and pressurization. This process transfers power from the vehicle to the dedicated equipment.

2. Water Pump Pressurization and Pipeline Delivery

Driven by the power take-off (PTO), the water pump begins operating, creating a vacuum that draws water into the tank. The pump then pressurizes the water in the tank and delivers it steadily through the pipeline system. To prevent clogging with impurities, the system is typically equipped with a filter to ensure smooth water flow.

3. Multi-Mode Spraying and Operation

The pressurized water is sprayed through various spraying devices. The forward spray is used for road washing, offering a long-range, high-impact spray. The rear spray is suitable for dust reduction and cleaning. The side spray is used for watering green belts. High-position showers and misting devices are used for watering trees or reducing airborne dust.
