The Howo 20-ton hook loader truck is a highly efficient sanitation vehicle. Its distinguishing feature is its detachable carriage and chassis, equipped with a hydraulic hook arm system that enables rapid lifting, loading, unloading, and transfer of waste bins, ensuring flexible and convenient operation.
This "one vehicle, multiple bins" cycle significantly improves vehicle utilization and waste collection and transportation efficiency, reducing operating costs. The Howo hook loader truck is easy to operate and suitable for a variety of waste collection and transportation scenarios, including residential communities, streets, factories, and construction sites, providing efficient and reliable support for urban environmental sanitation.

The Howo 20tons hook loader truck is modified based on the HOWO 6x4 T7H chassis. It features a 4325+1350mm wheelbase and is equipped with a 440hp MC11.44-50 diesel engine with a displacement of 10.518L. It is paired with an HW19710 ten-speed transmission (10 forward gears, 2 reverse gears), providing powerful power and smooth shifting.
The truck is equipped with 11 12.00R20 tires, providing increased load capacity and adaptability to various road conditions. The truck features a separate body and chassis, with a hydraulic hook arm at the rear, enabling rapid loading, unloading, and transfer of waste bins.

The operating steps of Howo 20tons hook loader truck are relatively clear, mainly including four links: preparation, loading, transportation and unloading. Each link relies on the coordinated action of the hydraulic system and the hook arm device to ensure the efficiency and safety of garbage collection and transportation.
» 1.Preparation before work
Before operation, the driver should park the vehicle on a flat, safe surface, apply the parking brake, and check the hydraulic system, hook arm mechanism, and locking mechanism for proper function. Ensure the waste bin is positioned appropriately and the work area is clear of obstructions to ensure smooth docking of the hook arm.

» 2. Loading the Garbage Bin
● The operator activates the hydraulic system using the hydraulic control handle or electronic control button in the cab.
● The hook arm first extends forward and hooks onto the front hook of the garbage bin. The hydraulic cylinder then retracts, driving the hook arm slowly upward, smoothly pulling the garbage bin along the guide rails to the vehicle's carriage.
● When the garbage bin is fully inserted into the vehicle's carriage, the vehicle's locking mechanism automatically engages, securing the bin during transport. The entire loading process is fast, smooth, and safe.

» 3. Transport Process
♦ After loading is complete, the driver deactivates the hydraulic system and confirms that the hook arm is securely locked to the trash bin. The vehicle then drives to a waste transfer station or processing plant.
♦ During transportation, the trash bin fits snugly into the vehicle compartment, preventing wobbling or slipping, ensuring stable and safe transport.

» 4. Unloading the Trash Container
✦ Upon arrival at the designated location, the operator activates the hydraulic system again, unlocking the vehicle's locking mechanism. The hydraulic cylinder extends, and the hook arm slowly pulls the trash container out and places it on the ground or in the unloading area.
✦ Once unloading is complete, the hook arm retracts and resets, reversing the entire process, corresponding to the loading step. If further operation is required, the empty container can be quickly replaced for the next round of waste collection.
