The FAW 3-cubic-meter fire truck is deeply modified based on the FAW TIGER VR special fire truck chassis, with a 3300mm wheelbase design, taking into account the passability of narrow urban roads and the stability of the vehicle body. The power core is equipped with a XICHAI CA4DB1A13E6 130 horsepower (96kW) engine with a displacement of 2.2L, which meets the Euro 6 emission standards and takes into account environmental protection and power output. The transmission system is matched with a WLY5G32C 5-speed manual transmission, which has smooth gear shifting and adapts to complex road conditions and high-intensity operation requirements. The chassis has been strengthened to withstand the weight of high-load water tanks and foam tanks to ensure driving safety.

1. Water tank and foam tank system

● 2-cubic-meter carbon steel water tank: made of high-strength carbon steel, corrosion-resistant and impact-resistant, with a capacity of 2000 liters, which can meet long-term water supply needs.

● 1 cubic stainless steel foam tank: 304 stainless steel material, excellent anti-rust performance, capacity of 1000 liters, can be loaded with Class A/B foam liquid, and can be linked with water tanks to achieve efficient fire extinguishing.

2. Fire pump and fire monitor

● CB10/40 fire pump: flow rate 40L/s, pressure 1.0MPa, supports long-distance water supply, and can quickly connect to municipal water sources or natural water sources.

● PL8/32 foam water combined fire monitor: flow rate 32L/s (water)/0.8Mpa, range of water ≥60 meters, foam ≥48 meters, 360° rotation, support long-range and short-range switching, suitable for different fire scenes. The system adopts pneumatic foam ratio mixing technology, which can automatically adjust the mixing ratio (3%-6%) to achieve precise fire extinguishing. The cannon head has DC/spray dual modes, and can be operated by the cab or tail remote control to pitch (-45° to +70°) and horizontal rotation (360°).
