Dump truck, also knowns as dumper, tipper truck, is a kind of truck used for transporting loose material such as sand, gravel, or stone for construction, building and engineering purpose. It is typically equipped with an open-box bed, which is hinged at rear and equipped with hydraulic pistons to lift the front part, thus allowing the material in the bed to be dumped on the ground behind the truck at the aimed delivery site.

It consist of truck chassis, hydraulic rising mechanism, cargo box and PTO.  It mainly work with excavator, loader, belt conveyor during civil engineering project to loading, transporting and unloading the soil, sandstone and bulk material.
