1.Isuzu FTR chassis and power system:

High power density engine: Sufficient power is required under high temperature and high load conditions (simultaneous driving, large flow water pump, air conditioning, etc.). Isuzu 4HK1 engine has a large displacement, high torque diesel engine with high temperature optimization tuning.

Isuzu FTR chassis and suspension: Isuzu FTR fire truck can carry extra-large capacity water tanks and additional equipment, with a sturdy chassis and reinforced suspension system (such as leaf springs or heavy-duty airbag suspension) to adapt to possible non-paved roads.

High passability: For vehicles that need to enter deserts, construction sites, and undeveloped areas, all-wheel drive, high ground clearance, and even off-road tires can also be customized and matched.

 

2.Adaptability to extreme high temperature environments:

 

Enhanced engine cooling system: Use ultra-large capacity radiator, high-performance fan (multiple fans can be connected in parallel if necessary), and optimize the air duct design to ensure that the engine, gearbox, hydraulic system, and power take-off do not overheat when running at full power for a long time at an ambient temperature of 55°C+ (such as full water pump, water spraying during driving). Auxiliary cooling units may be required.

High temperature resistant parts: All rubber parts (pipes, seals, tires), plastic parts, electronic components, and lubricating oil/hydraulic oil must be special models that can withstand high temperatures above 70°C or even higher instantaneous temperatures for a long time. Wire insulation must be aging-resistant. 

 

Cockpit/passenger compartment air conditioning system: Must be equipped with an ultra-strong cooling air conditioning system that far exceeds conventional standards to ensure that the cabin temperature can be maintained in a safe and comfortable range under extreme high temperatures (usually requiring the cabin temperature to be ≤25°C when the outside temperature is 55°C). Good insulation and sealing are also crucial.

Thermal management strategy: Optimize the layout of the entire vehicle to avoid excessive concentration of heat sources. Provide additional insulation for high-temperature components such as exhaust pipes and turbochargers to reduce heat radiation to surrounding equipment (especially electronic equipment and water systems)

» Ⅳ.Key points of periodic maintenance：

 

 

• Power system maintenance: Maintenance is carried out every 500 hours of use, including diesel filter replacement (with oil-water separation function), EGR valve carbon deposit cleaning (ultrasonic cleaning), and turbocharger axial clearance detection (standard value 0.03-0.08mm).

 

 

• Water system maintenance: Every quarter, the inside of the tank is cleaned under high pressure (≥10MPa), the check valve is tested for sealing (leakage rate <0.1L/min), and the pipeline is pulse tested (maintained at 1.5 times the working pressure).

 

 

• Structural parts inspection: Every six months, the frame welds are inspected by magnetic particle inspection (with a focus on the rear suspension connection), the leaf spring U-bolts are torqued back (standard torque ±5%), and the drive shaft universal joint clearance is measured (angular clearance <15°).
