1. Safety

A modern disc or drum brake system (with EBS/ABS) designed for a gross weight of 49 tons, combined with the braking capacity of the tractor, is fully capable of providing the required safe braking distance and stability. Reducing one axle also means that the thermal management burden of the braking system is relatively reduced (although the single-axle braking force demand may increase slightly, the overall heat dissipation pressure is controllable). The 39000L tank has a controllable center of gravity height and good roll stability under reasonable design (such as wave-breaking board setting, low center of gravity structure) and standardized loading. The frame and suspension system designed for the target load have sufficient strength and durability under standardized use and maintenance.

3. Stability

High-strength low-alloy steel (such as Q345R, Q370R) or stainless steel (such as 304, 316L) are preferred, with good strength, toughness and weldability. Stainless steel is expensive but has excellent corrosion resistance, and is particularly suitable for long-term transportation or situations where the cleanliness of the oil is extremely high.

According to precise calculations of fluid dynamics, sufficient number, reasonable spacing and structure of wave-breaking plates (honeycomb or damping hole type is recommended) are set to effectively suppress the impact force of liquid sloshing (up to 2-3 times the hydrostatic pressure), protect the tank structure, and improve driving stability. High-quality designs will be verified by CFD (computational fluid dynamics) simulation. Submerged arc automatic welding (SAW) is preferred for main welds (longitudinal seams and circumferential seams) to ensure large penetration, good forming, high efficiency and stable quality. Fillet welds and accessory welding use metal arc gas welding (GMAW/MIG) or flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) to control heat input.
