Core structure and material selection:

The selection of Q370R pressure vessel steel plate is the core highlight of this design. Q370R is a low-alloy high-strength steel with a yield strength of 370MPa, which is specially used for pressure vessels. It has excellent strength, good plasticity and toughness, excellent welding performance and cold crack resistance. Compared with the commonly used Q345R, it can reduce weight at the same design pressure (or withstand higher pressure at the same thickness) and improve structural efficiency. This directly improves the pressure bearing capacity (1.61MPa) and safety foundation of the tank.

Design pressure (1.61MPa): This design pressure is at a relatively high level among mobile tank trucks. It is much higher than the normal working pressure required for diesel transportation (usually far below 1MPa), which provides a huge safety margin. When the pressure in the tank increases instantly due to abnormal conditions (such as high temperature exposure, rapid loading and unloading, and accidental impact), it can effectively ensure that the tank will not fail.

Steel thickness (8.0mm): 8.0mm steel thickness combined with Q370R material is reasonable and robust for 40CBM tank under 1.61MPa design pressure. This requires accurate strength calculation (including static pressure, dynamic pressure, external pressure stability, etc.) and weld design that complies with the specifications to ensure. While ensuring strength, this thickness also takes into account manufacturing processability (such as rolling, welding) and a certain corrosion allowance.
Safety system design:
"Multiple" safety valves:
This is the key design. It usually includes a main safety valve (spring-type or pilot-operated), which is set to open at a pressure slightly lower than the design pressure (such as 1.55MPa); it may also be equipped with an auxiliary relief device (such as a bursting disc) as the last line of defense. The redundant design greatly improves the reliability of over pressure protection.
Liquid level gauge (magnetic flap/radar):
Accurate and reliable liquid level measurement is essential for loading rate control and overflow prevention. Multiple types of configurations may mean the selection of main and auxiliary liquid level gauges or adapt to different working conditions/accuracy.
Pressure gauge:
Real-time monitoring of the pressure in the tank is the basic basis for operators to judge the status of the tank. Overall design concept: It embodies the design concept of "intrinsic safety" and builds a multi-level protection system through high-grade materials, high design pressure, multiple safety monitoring and release.
